The Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati is pushing back its performances of "The Song Among Us" scheduled for this weekend in response to rising incidence of COVID-19 cases.

More information about the rescheduled performances, including dates, is forthcoming, according to the ensemble's website.

"This postponement is prompted by production challenges exacerbated by the recent rise in positive COVID cases across the nation," the website states. "Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we continue to adapt to ever-changing circumstances."

The announcement comes as the Cincinnati region experiences a surge in COVID-19 cases with numbers of COVID-19 patients in local hospitals exceeding the total seen during last winter's holiday.

Information regarding ticket options, such as donations, exchanges and refunds, can be found by contacting the ensemble's box office at 513-381-3300.
