Vogel to be honored before Jays host Century on Jan. 3

Dec. 31—JAMESTOWN — The Blue Jay girls hockey program will be honoring former assistant coach Lindsey Vogel on Tuesday, Dec. 3, when the Jamestown team hosts Bismarck Century at 7 p.m.

Vogel, who passed away July 31, will be honored with a memorial plaque for her impact in helping the girls' hockey program grow. A brief speech is expected and the Vogel family will join the Blue Jays on the ice prior to the game.

Vogel was on the first-ever Jays girls' hockey team during her junior year in 2002-2003. She served as an assistant coach for the Jays from 2015 to 2021.
