The Voice Kids UK's Danny Jones had viewers on edge during tonight's episode (June 15) after doing a chair turn at the last possible second for one act.

Young hopeful Conor from Northern Ireland came on the show with his own song 'That Girl I Met', winning over the audience almost instantly.

However, the 13-year-old seemingly didn't have much love from the coaches, as they remained with their backs firmly turned throughout the performance.

Yet at the last possible moment, Danny decided to take a chance and finally pressed his buzzer – much to the delight of everyone in the room.

Viewers at home certainly breathed a sigh of relief too:

Conor later explained to the coaches that he wrote the song about a girl he fancied, though she ended up kissing another boy.

However, he then said the girl was "history", which made the audience and coaches cheer for the youngster as will.i.am went up to give him a hug.

Meanwhile, this series of the show has added a fourth coach in the form of Jessie J, who returns to The Voice UK franchise after taking part in the first two series of the adult show.

"Obviously I was really nervous, not knowing how it was going to be with it being kids, as I can be quite serious," she said of returning.

"It was a different side of me that people don't often get to see, like when I am with my niece and nephews and my friends' kids, so it is a really special thing thing for me to do."

The Voice Kids UK airs on ITV.
