Can the all-new Volkswagen ID.7 handle a full-size Nalgene bottle?

Volkswagen has revealed its upcoming ID.7 flagship electric sedan, due in the U.S. in 2024, with 282 horsepower, over 300 miles of range, massaging seats and an augmented reality head-up display. We checked the front and rear rows of seating, including the door pockets, and saw mixed results. Watch to find out where to stash your drinks in the VW ID.7.

JOHN SNYDER: Hello there. John Snyder with "Autoblog" here, and this is the Volkswagen ID7. A brand-new car, new electric flagship for Volkswagen, and I'm asking the important questions here, can the cupholders fit a full-sized Nalgene? Let's take a look. I like this nice interior.

Those don't look like they're going to fit. Nope. Nope. Let's check the doors here. That works. Let's check the back real quick. It won't fit in the back one. Let's check right here. Same there and there. Nope.

So it'll do the front door pockets, and that's about it there it is Thanks for watching.
