Tennessee dominated Akron on Saturday to the tune of a 63-6 victory, setting up next weekend's showdown against Florida at Neyland Stadium.

Next week's game was on the mind of most at the conclusion of Saturday's win.

Hendon Hooker was good again. Cedric Tillman and Jabari Small both left the Akron game with injuries, though Josh Heupel wasn't too concerned postgame. We'll see next week.

Remember last week, when I talked in this space about Vandy maybe changing quarterbacks? It happened Saturday, with true freshman AJ Swann starting and throwing for 255 yards and four touchdowns in the Commodores' 38-28 road win at Northern Illinois.

Swann enrolled early and won the No. 2 QB job out of preseason practice over ex-starter Ken Seals. Now, the quarterback of the future is the quarterback of Vanderbilt's present, Aria Gerson wrote.
