Volunteer firefighters brave Greek inferno

STORY: In footage filmed on Tuesday (July 19) by the Rodopolis Forest Fire Fighting and Disposition Volunteer Forces, firefighters crouched in front of fierce flames, as red-hot embers flew through the air.

Greek authorities said the wildfire north of the capital is now under control. The flames fanned by gale-force winds, spread to urban areas including Penteli and Anthousa, 27km (16 miles) north of Athens.
