Volunteers are once again needed in various roles for Art Beat in downtown South Bend on Aug. 20, 2022. Here, helpers from the South Bend Museum of Art hang paintings created by children on the side of the Century Center during the 2019 Art Beat.

SOUTH BEND − Volunteers are needed for the annual Art Beat festival, which returns to downtown Aug. 20 with more than 500 performing, visual and culinary artists for a day-long celebration, according to organizers at Downtown South Bend.

You can sign up for yourself or a group for any of the following opportunities: booth volunteer, stage manager, scene host, Kid Beat volunteer, community art project volunteer, waste watcher, set-up volunteer or tear-down volunteer.

Each volunteer will receive a 2022 Art Beat commemorative T-shirt.
