Nov. 5—Volunteers are needed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, to deliver meals to seniors who are alone for the holiday.
"Holiday meals are deeply appreciated by our area seniors and we would love to have you help make their holiday a little brighter," according to a news release from the Geauga County Department on Aging
All meals are prepared and made ready for delivery at the Chardon Senior Center, located at 470 Center St., Building 8.
Volunteers will pick up holiday meals at the senior center and deliver the meal to their assigned seniors' homes, the release stated. To volunteer or for additional information, call Deana Catucci at the Department on Aging at 440-279-2145
