KATHY WALSH: In Glen Haven, volunteers worked on fire mitigation. About 50 volunteers with the Glen Haven Fire Department cut and built about 90 slash piles. They had help from Boy Scout Troop 8 from Estes Park. Treatment is now more than half done in the area. They will get back at it at the end of May with Team Rubicon, a group of veterans who volunteer.
