Sidney Simmons

The Letchworth diver won the Section V Class C diving title with 464.30 points in Saturday's final.

Cole Gorman

Handed out 31 assists in Gates Chili's straight sets win over North Rose-Wolcott in the Section V Class B boys volleyball prequarterfinals.

Kara Stephens

The Lyons girls volleyball player had 20 kills in a five set Section V Class D2 quarterfinal win over Dundee/Bradford on Saturday.

Abby Herbst

The Webster Schroeder junior scored three goals this week, one in a Class AA semifinal win over Brighton and two in Saturday’s championship win over Hilton.

Matt Allen

The Red Jacket senior had 14 carries for 154 yards and three touchdowns, then collected 16 tackles and a sack on defense during Red Jacket's 50-38 8-man playoff win over C.G. Finney.

Harper Weisbeck

Pittsford Sutherland senior scored the game-winning goal in the Section V Field Hockey Class B final, as the Knights won a championship for the first time since 2012.

Maya Costanza

Brighton sophomore scored the goal that decided a Section V Field Hockey Class A semifinal 1-0 at No. 1 seed Fairport. The Barons play Webster Thomas in the Class A sectional final Nov. 1.

Helena Rao

Webster Thomas senior scored a pair of goals during a 5-2 win over Penfield to help launch the Titans into the Section V Field Hockey Class A Tournament final Nov. 1.

Ava Travato

Webster Thomas senior scored two goals during the Section V Field Hockey Class A Tournament semifinal, a 5-2 win over Penfield. The sectional championship game is Nov. 1.

Leyla Tozin

Brighton sophomore finished in third-place at the high school girls tennis state championships, after she advanced to the semifinals of the main draw. Tozin is Section V's overall champion.
