Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.
Each week during the high school spring sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all the spring sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.
Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will get an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Kooper Etheridge
Lakeview Baseball
With Kooper Etheridge on the mound, Lakeview won a Division 1 district title in baseball, giving the school back-to-back district crowns for the first time in 15 years. Etheridge pitched six shutout innings, striking out nine. He also added two doubles and three RBI in the championship game.
Caleb Bost
Lakeview Track
Lakeview junior Caleb Bost was named the Most Outstanding Performer for the boys All-City with three first places and a second. Bost won the 400 and was on the winning 3,200 relay team and the 1,600 relay. He also finished third in the state finals in the 800 on Saturday.
Jocelyn Hall
Athens Girls Track/Softball
Jocelyn Hall threw a no-hitter as a pitcher for the Athens softball team in the district-championship clinching 2-0 win over Burr Oak on Friday. On Saturday, Hall placed second in the state in the 100 hurdles in track.
Samya Fisher
Battle Creek Central Girls Track
Battle Creek Central's Samya Fisher was voted the Most Outstanding Performer of the All-City girls meet after taking four first places. Fisher won the 100, 200, long jump and was part of the first-place 400 relay.
Aleah Minehart
Gull Lake Girls Soccer
Gull Lake's Aleah Minehart helped the Blue Devils beat No. 1-ranked Marshall to earn a Division 2 district championship. Minehart scored a goal and had an assist in the 4-2 victory.
Paula Martinez
Lakeview Girls Tennis
The Spartans' Paula Martinez won the school's first state title in more than a decade at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 State Tennis Finals at Hope College on Saturday. Martinez, a foreign-exchange student from Spain, was first at No. 4 singles.
Andrew Berryhill
Lakeview Boys Track
Junior Andrew Berryhill has been dominant in the throwing events in recent weeks. He won the state title in shot put at the MHSAA Division 1 State Finals, becoming the first Spartan to win a track state title in a decade. Before that, Berryhill swept the shot put and discus, taking first in both at the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches State Meet.
