Each week during the high school fall sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all the fall sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.
Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will get an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m

Owen Baum
Lakeview Boys Swimming & Diving
Senior Owen Baum helped Lakeview win the annual All-City Swimming and Diving Championships. Baum took first in the 50 freestyle and was part of two winning relays, including the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
Dane Harper
Lakeview Wrestling
Dane Harper came up big for the Spartans as Lakeview regained the city title at the All-City Wrestling Tournament. Harper went undefeated at 285 pounds and was named city champ among heavyweights as Lakeview swept the city schools in duals at the event.
Ben Shafer
Harper Creek Boys Basketball
Senior Ben Shafer helped Harper Creek climb into a tie for first place in the Interstate 8 Conference as the Beavers knocked off undefeated city rival Pennfield on Friday. Shafer had a team-high 14 points and 10 rebounds in the 59-41 win.
A'Mya Hodges
Battle Creek Central Girls Basketball
Freshman A'Mya Hodges continues to impress in her first year on varsity as she helped the Bearcats end a four-game losing streak with 18 points, scoring half of her team's points in a 36-33 win over Loy Norrix.
