Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.

Each week during the high school fall sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all the fall sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.

Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will get an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m.

St. Philip Football

Jordan Eckman had four touchdowns to go along with 162 yards rushing on 14 carries as St. Philip defeated North Adams-Jerome, 64-16, in 8-player football. The 60 points were the most scored by the Tigers since 2019.

A junior getting a chance in the Lakeview lineup, has had a fast start for the Spartans. Ling had two goals in a 4-0 win over Loy Norrix to open Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference play. Already for the season, Ling has six goals and three assists.

Marshall Girls Cross Country

The Marshall girls dominated the competition to win the annual Barney Roy Invitational as the Redhawks took three of the top four places. Camille DeCola was the overall champion in a time of 19:56, as she won her second invitational of the young season.

Ramsey Bousseau

Olivet Football

Behind six touchdowns from Ramsey Bousseau, Olivet rolled to a 40-20 win over Pennfield. Bousseau had the first 34 points for Olivet, getting touchdowns three different way − four rushing scores, a 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 43-yard pass reception for a touchdown. Bousseau finished with 166 yards rushing.
