Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.

Each week during the high school fall sports season, we will ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all the fall sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.

Make sure to vote early and often for your pick, as the winner will get an Enquirer Athlete of the Week T-shirt. Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Harper Creek Wrestling

Nick Martinez won a league title for the second straight year, finishing first at 165 pounds for Harper Creek in the Interstate 8 Conference Championship Meet on Saturday. Martinez earned two pins and defeated top seed Zach Jacobs of Jackson Northwest in the finals, 4-2.

Lakeview Boys Basketball

Senior guard Ethan Bagent helped Lakeview earn a sweep over Battle Creek Central with a 49-42 win over the city rival on Friday. As the Spartans were on a five-game winning streak, Bagent and three 3-pointers with 16 points with six rebounds in the win over the Bearcats.

Harper Creek Girls Basketball

Sophomore Ella Chantrenne helped Harper Creek end a five-game losing streak as she had a standout game in a 52-49 win over Waverly with a team-high 14 points and seven rebounds. The guard also had a standout shooting game with 21 points and seven rebounds in a loss to state-ranked Jackson Northwest.

Bellevue Boys Basketball

Bellevue 6-foot-7 senior center Dawson Wing helped the Broncos to a high-scoring week. Wing had 18 points in a 105-18 Bellevue win over Athens on Friday to help the program improve to 12-1 overall. Wing also had 14 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in a 73-30 win over Climax-Scotts.
