It is time again to vote for the Community Credit Union Florida Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.

The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Oct. 3-8. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.

Last week's winner was Immanuel Martin of Rockledge bowling.

Martin received 11,181 votes of 19,599 cast at 321preps.com. Rebecca Luchs (5,335) of Merritt Island golf and Merritt Island Christian volleyball's Havana Weilnau (3,045) followed.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. Email the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

Here are this week's nominees:

Lindsey Angermeier, Edgewood volleyball

Angermeier recorded 17 kills and a block last week in a victory over Merritt Island Christian.

Jennifer Chiarillo, Eau Gallie bowling

Chiarillo bowled a season-best 245 at Palm Bay Shore Lanes in a Thursday match, following a 195 in competition on Tuesday.

Abby Clayton, Cocoa Beach swimming

Clayton won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.77, the 200 individual medley (2:13.56) and led off the winning 200 freestyle relay Friday at the Cape Coast Conference meet.

Deshaun Harper, Bayside football

Harper recorded nine tackles against Satellite on Monday and seven versus Viera on Friday, including two sacks. He broke up three passes against the Scorps.

Jeremiah King, Brevard Heat swimming

King won the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke in Thursday and Friday meets, both at Eddie Lee Taylor Sr. Pool in Melbourne.

Vivian Luu, Viera golf

Luu shot a round of 35 over nine holes at Sebastian Municipal on Tuesday, one under par, and she shot even par on a darkness-shortened round Thursday at Duran.

Devin Makousky, Rockledge cross country

Makousky won the Cape Coast Conference 5,000-meter race Monday at Wickham (15:44.4) and was fourth (15:21.5) among 3A boys at the FSU Pre-State Invite in Tallahassee on Saturday.

Nicole Riopelle, West Shore swimming

Riopelle won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.07 seconds and the 100 butterfly (58.72) at the Cape Coast Conference meet on Friday.

Sarilyne Walley, Merritt Island Volleyball

Walley recorded 23 assists and nine digs in a match last Tuesday against Satellite.

Elliot Weisel, Rockledge swimming

Weisel was part of four records at the Cape Coast Conference meet Friday. He won the 200 freestyle, the 500 freestyle and swam on two winning relays.

Logan Young, Titusville bowling

Young bowled a 258 Wednesday at River Lanes in a match against Cocoa High.
