It is time again to vote for the Community Credit Union Florida Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.
The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Jan. 23-28. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.
Our last winner was Lindsey Angermeier of Edgewood basketball.
Angermeier received 22,101 of 46,884 votes cast at 321preps.com, which was 47.14 percent of the vote. Noah Schroeder of Bayside soccer followed with 17,097. Hailey Thibdeau of Space Coast soccer was next, with 6,877.
Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

Ethan Castes, Space Coast soccer
In a District 8-4A quarterfinal win over Cocoa, Castes scored four goals for the Vipers.
Derrick Collins, Eau Gallie basketball
Collins scored 26 points on Tuesday in a Commodores win over Space Coast.
Katie Corley, Melbourne soccer
Corley scored three goals in a District 7-6A semifinal win over St. Cloud on Friday.
Ernie Covert, Space Coast wrestling
Covert won the 106-pound weight class at the Wolfpack IBT at Timber Creek on Saturday with two pins and a major decision.
Hayden Deane, MCC basketball
Deane put back a rebound for a winner at the buzzer against Edgewood. In three games, he averaged more than 18 points.
Gianna Lopez, Edgewood soccer
Lopez scored two goals in a District 10-3A semifinal win over Melbourne Central Catholic, keeping the Red Wolves unbeaten.
Erynn Moffett, West Shore basketball
Moffett scored 25 points to lead the Wildcats to a victory over Merritt Island on Friday.
Lexie Roach, Rockledge soccer
Roach recorded a save and scored three goals in a District 13-5A tournament win over Eau Gallie on Wednesday.
Kaci Underwood, Merritt Island soccer
Underwood recorded a pair of goals and assisted on a third in a District 13-5A semifinal win over Port St. Lucie on Friday.
