It is time again to vote for the Community Credit Union Florida Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.

The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Oct. 24-29. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.

Last week's winner was Brady Zink of Viera swimming.

Zink recieved 4,478 votes of 9,386 cast at 321preps.com. Mitchell McNeely of Cocoa Beach followed, with 3,562.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

Here are this week's nominees:

Alexander Bercea, Cocoa Beach golf

Bercea shot a 71 to finish as the top Brevard scorer at the District 7-1A tournament at Cocoa Beach Country Club.

Ian Harmon, Edgewood bowling

Harmon bowled a 754 series with games of 232-233-289 on Tuesday to top the District 10 tournament field at Merritt Island Shore Lanes.

Kaitlyn Knight, Space Coast bowling

Knight bowled games of 234-223-232 for a 690 series to lead the girls individual field at the District 10 tournament at Merritt Island Shore Lanes on Tuesday.

Wesley Lambert, Melbourne football

Lambert scored three touchdowns on Friday at Tom McIntyre Stadium in a win over rival Viera.

Cassie Martin, Merritt Island volleyball

Martin recorded 36 kills and eight blocks in two regional wins last week. Against Cypress Creek, she had 23 kills with five blocks.

Ryleigh Rendina, Astronaut diving

Rendina won the District 6-2A diving title Tuesday in Sebastian, scoring 415.1 points, more than 40 points ahead of her nearest competitor.

Nicole Sarko, Heritage bowling

Sarko bowled 205-222-189 for a 616 series at Palm Bay Shore Lanes on Monday to finish first among girls at the District 11 bowling tournament at Palm Bay Shore Lanes.

Lucas Smit, Palm Bay diving

Smit won the District 6-2A diving title Tuesday in Sebastian, accumulating 470.6 points for the championship.

Dominic Gibson-Smith, Bayside bowling

Gibson-Smith bowled 275-231-227 at Palm Bay Shore Lanes on Monday to finish first among boys at the District 11 bowling tournament.

Lance Stern, West Shore swimming

Stern won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.90 seconds, the 100 free (50.17) and swam on the winning 200-free relay Thursday at the District 5-1A meet.

Malinda Underwood, Rockledge cross country

Underwood won the Region 4-3A girls individual 5,000-meter race last week with a time of 17:57.6.
