It is time again to vote for the Community Credit Union Florida Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.
The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Dec. 19-Jan. 14. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Friday.
Our last winner was Beau Couture of West Shore basketball.
Couture received 27,137 of 52,021 votes cast at 321preps.com. Cocoa Beach basketball's A.J. Overdorf followed, with 18,255 votes.
Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday..
Here are this week's nominees:
Carlee Allen, Melbourne soccer
The Bulldogs freshman scored twice against Titusville on Jan. 6 and had the game-winner Wednesday against Viera.
Stephanie Burke, Edgewood soccer
Burke recorded five saves in a a win over Merritt Island. Against Space Coast, she scored a goal and assisted on another.
Bree Ehmer, West Shore soccer
Ehmer scored 10 goals and assisted on three more last week and set the Wildcats record for career goals, with 131.
Ada Daniels, Merritt Island basketball
In five games over the last two weeks, Daniels has averaged 10.4 rebounds and 3.8 blocks, with a big game of 12 boards, six blocks versus Harmony.
Miles Lett, Eau Gallie soccer
Lett made 31 saves in three matches. He recorded a shutout victory against Bayside on Monday of last week.
Nia Santiago, Viera basketball
Santiago was an assist short of a quadruple double against Melbourne on Wednesday, with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 13 steals.
Grace Vevera, MCC soccer
Vevera recorded six goals and two assists in a week. She scored the game winners against St. Edward's and Eau Gallie, one of five against the Commodores.
