“Our patrons can vote among four different cookies: chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar or oatmeal raisin cookies.  I will have a display showing each cookie. Sorry, no cookie tasting. They can vote by putting a sticker by the cookie that represents their favorite,” Karen Sweat, youth service technician and election host, said. "I'm hoping we get a decent turnout. At the end of the month, I'll tally up the score and post the winning cookie."

On Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, or until supplies last, the winning cookie will be served at Dorsch.

Dorsch also has opened its annual "Ginkgo Leaf Prediction" contest.

“Historically the gingko tree drops its leaves on the same day. Guess the day that the majority of the leaves will fall from our tree,” the library said.
