Two basketball players earn Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 7-13
Somerset junior basketball player Mia Rosman was voted the Daily American Somerset County Female Athlete of the Week while Windber senior basketball player Aiden Gray was selected Male Athlete of the Week for their performances from Jan. 7-13.
In two games, Rosman tallied 27 points, including five 3-pointers and 15 points against Chestnut Ridge on Jan. 7.
Meanwhile, in three games, Gray combined for 33 points, including 15 in a setback to Portage.

Each Monday, the Daily American will select nominees for the Male and Female Athlete of the Week in Somerset County for the winter sports season.
We will post the polls each Monday at 5 p.m., and voters will have through Wednesday at 5 p.m. to vote. Votes are limited to one per IP address or computer network.
