Etowah's Abbi Martin voted female athlete of the week for Gadsden-area for third week of May

Etowah's Abbi Martin won the female athlete of the week honors in the Gadsden area.

She was 4-for-6 at the plate with three triples, a double a walk, six RB’s and four runs scored at the East-Central Regional in Albertville.

Martin won 48.57% of the vote to win the honors. Sardis' Kayden Tarvin was second with 29.71% of the vote.
