Girls bowling: Ellington Jones wins female athlete of the week honors in the Gadsden area
Etowah's Ellington Jones won the female athlete of the week honors in the Gadsden area.
Jones scored a 157-168-154–479 through three games, earning second overall, on the 1A-5A AHSAA North Regional in Tuscaloosa.
She won 47.60% of the vote to win the honors. Southside's Madison Shaw was second with 30.42% of the vote.
