Boys basketball

Ryan Thompson, Burns

Finished with 26.1% of the week’s vote, outpacing Ashbrook’s Jashaun Clark, Greyson Kines of South Point and Forestview’s Daris Byers. He averaged 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and three assists in wins over Highland Tech and East Rutherford.

Girls basketball

Zion Duncan, Stuart Cramer

Duncan received 55.6% of the vote to claim player of the week honors. She finished with 22 points and 26 rebounds in a late January loss to Crest.
