Vote for Mississippi boys and girls high school athlete of the week March 20-25

There were several top performers across the state in boys and girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for March 13-18.

Boys nominations

Hank Eaton, Kossuth: Eaton had a no-hitter in Kossuth's 8-0 victory over Booneville. He finished with 10 strikeouts and went 2-of-4 with three RBIs and a home run.

Carter Everett, St. Andrew's: The junior had a perfect game in as the Saints defeated Crystal Springs 15-0 on March 21. Everett had had six strikeouts in three innings.

Crosby Mullins, Simpson Academy: The senior had seven RBIs in a 3-0 series sweep for Simpson Academy over Park Place Christian. Mullins went 3-of-4 with four RBIs in a 9-1 victory on March 21.

Ethan Pulliam, Starkville: The Mississippi State signee had a two-run, walk-off home run in Starkville's 4-3 victory over Tupelo. Pulliam finished with two home runs in the victory.

Girls nominations

Emma Abrams, Lewisburg: The sophomore had nine strikeouts and allowed one hit in four innings of Lewisburg's 16-0 victory over Olive Branch on Thursday.

Peyton Collins, George County: Collins allowed two hits with 10 strikeouts in George County's 10-0 victory over Gautier.

Valencia Watson, Ridgeland: The Southern Miss commitment finished first in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash at the Bianca Knight Invitational on Saturday.

Gracie Williams, Kosciusko: The senior went 2-of-3 with an RBI in Kosciusko's 16-0 victory over Louisville on March 21 followed by a seven strikeout performance in another 16-0 victory over the Wildcats on Thursday.
