It's time to vote for the Montgomery area boys high school athlete of the week. This week's poll covers January 30 to February 5.

You can learn about this week's candidates and submit your votes below. DO NOT SEND VOTES BY EMAIL. Only votes submitted via the poll below will be counted.

HS BASKETBALL:Alabama AHSAA basketball playoffs: Area tournament brackets for Montgomery girls, boys

Matthew Blake, track and field, Trinity Presbyterian: Anchored the Wildcats' 4x400- and 4x800-meter relay teams at the AHSAA Class 1A-3A Indoor State Championships in Birmingham on Feb. 3, leading them both to first-place finishes with times of 3:39.71 and 8:39.18 respectively. Placed 3rd in the 800-meter run (1:57.89) and 4th in the 400-meter dash (52.12 seconds). Helped Trinity finish seventh as an overall team.

Kamran DeRamus, basketball, Prattville: Posted a double-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in a 78-61 win over Stanhope Elmore on Feb. 3.

Julian Fenderson, track and field, Brewbaker Tech: Finished 2nd in the 60-meter dash at the 4A-5A Indoor State Championships in Birmingham on Feb. 4, running a 7.04. Anchored the Rams' 4x200-meter relay team, which placed 8th, with a time of 1:36.33.

Anthony Fenn, basketball, Success Unlimited: Racked up 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals in an 80-41 win at New Life Christian on Jan. 30. Had 6 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks in a 63-47 win over Eastwood Christian on Jan. 31.

Agustin Lemuz, track and field, LAMP: Placed in all of his events at the 4A-5A State Championships, finishing 4th in the 3200-meter run (9:50.08), 7th in the 1600 (4:35.42) and 8th in the 800 (2:01.47).

Eli Manning, basketball, Billingsley: Scored 26 points with 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in a 52-45 win over Verbena on Jan. 31. Had 15 points, 4 steals, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in a 51-32 win over Isabella on Jan. 30.

Rick McBride III, track and field, Montgomery Academy: At the 1A-3A Indoor State Championships, was 2nd in the 400 meters with a time of 51.32 seconds. Placed 4th in the 60-meter dash, running a 7.28. Anchored the Eagles' 4x200-meter relay, which won a state title with a time of 1:36.33.

Mac Moorer, basketball, Alabama Christian: Scored 26 points and added 7 steals and 2 assists in a 51-16 win over Ellwood Christian on Jan. 31. Had 22 points and 6 rebounds in a 50-49 win at Notasulga on Feb. 2. Scored 20 points in a 55-27 win over Pike Liberal Arts on Feb. 3.

Connor Owens, track and field, St. James: Won the state championship in the shot put at the 1A-3A State Championships, recording a distance of 47 feet, 3.5 inches.

Quendarius Rudolph, basketball, Evangel Christian: Had 15 points and 12 rebounds in a 51-46 win over Valiant Cross on Jan. 30.

Brody Whitt, basketball, Edgewood Academy: Scored 18 points to go with 6 rebounds and 2 steals in a 47-36 win over Lowndes Academy on Jan. 30.

Arthur Woods, track and field, Reeltown: Finished 2nd in both the 60-meter dash (7.17 seconds) and 60-meter hurdles (9.05 seconds) at the 1A-3A State Championships. Also placed 3rd in the long jump (20 feet, 3.5 inches) and ran the first leg of the 4x200-meter relay which finished 2nd (1:36.55). Led the Rebels to a sixth-place team finish.
