It's time to vote for the Montgomery area girls high school athlete of the week.

You can learn about this week's candidates and submit your votes below. DO NOT SEND VOTES BY EMAIL. Only votes submitted via the poll below will be counted.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: See the top performers in the Montgomery area for the week of Sept. 3-9

Ann Cobb, flag football, Montgomery Catholic: Scored three touchdowns in a 30-0 win over Northside Methodist and scored two touchdowns and intercepted a pass in a 25-6 win over Dothan.

Camryn Foshee, volleyball, Brewbaker Tech: Had 54 assists during the Elmore County Block Party tournament. Delivered 16 assists in a three-set win over Charles Henderson.

Elley Goff, cross country, St. James: Ran one of the River Region's fastest 5K times of the season with a 20:57 at the TCBY Invitational in Tuscaloosa. Finished with the meet's third-best time.

Isabella Johnson, volleyball, Montgomery Academy: Posted a .529 hitting percentage, the highest on the team, in a pair of wins over Elmore County and Montgomery Catholic. Tallied 10 kills and four blocks.

HS VOLLEYBALL: 30 Montgomery area players to keep an eye on during the 2022 season

Hannah Jones, volleyball, Prattville Christian: Totaled 14 kills, six digs and two blocks in a three-set win over Alabama Christian. Had eight kills in a three-set win over Dadeville.

Alyson Thornton, volleyball, Alabama Christian: Had 14 assists, 12 kills and three aces in a three-set win over Beulah. Had 10 assists against Prattville Christian.
