Louis Cerchio of Delbarton voted Morris/Sussex Wrestler of the Week for Week 7

After four days of voting, Delbarton sophomore Louis Cerchio has been selected as the Morris/Sussex Wrestler of the Week for Week 7.

After winning his first Morris County title, the Green Wave sophomore kept picking up big results as he overcome a 4-2 deficit and pinned nationally-ranked Lorenzo Norman of Blair Academy in 2:56. He also pinned Mendham's Jack Suchaneck as part of Delbarton's division-clinching win.

Here were the other nominees:

Bryce Coesfeld

Kittatinny sophomore

Coach John Gill said Coesfeld has "consistently stepped up to deliver pins and hard-fought decisions" at a tough 150-pound weight class. Last week, he pinned Pascack Hills' Christian Funke and Jefferson's Bryan Tilney in the first period to reach 20 wins.

Blaise Pasquier

Mendham junior

The Minutemen junior rebounded after the tough county tournament with four straight wins. He notched pins against Belvidere and Caldwell and a strong 4-3 decision over West Morris' Mark Mantuore, who was seeded second at counties. He also picked up six points for Mendham on a forfeit against Delbarton.
