Vote now for the Bradenton Herald’s high school football player of the week (Oct. 30)

Manatee County’s football players have created memorable performances in the 2023-24 high school season.

This week, we resume a weekly feature in which we ask you to vote for the best performer of the week in Manatee County high school sports.

Below is a look at the five candidates from last week’s action. Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3.

Here are the candidates from last week’s games:

Dylan Wester, Palmetto: The sophomore snagged five catches for 181 yards, including an 83-yard touchdown on the third play of Friday’s 38-33 loss to Manatee.

Rok Lodge, Palmetto: The senior caught eight passes for 132 yards in a 38-33 loss to Manatee.

Trayvon Pinder, Manatee: The physical back gashed Palmetto for 162 yards on 22 carries and three touchdowns in the 38-33 win to clinch the district championship.

Yahshua Edwards, Braden River: The junior had 140 yards on 15 carries with a rushing touchdown and six catches for 108 yards and two receiving touchdowns in a 35-7 victory over Southeast.

Jaden Judge, Bayshore: The senior ran for 275 yards on 27 carries with three touchdowns in a 24-20 loss to Lakewood Ranch.
