This week’s winner is:

Lucas Foster, Puyallup soccer

Foster scored a second-half goal from around 20 yards out in a 1-1 draw with Curtis on Thursday. He also had an assist in a 3-0 win against Olympia earlier in the week.

Jake Bresnahan, Sumner baseball — Had two hits and drove in three runs in 7-0 win over Emerald Ridge on Tuesday and had a hit and RBI in 14-3 win over Bellarmine on Wednesday. Against Emerald Ridge, pitched 6 and 2/3 innings, allowing no runs and just two hits, while striking out 13 batters.

Hudson Brown, Emerald Ridge baseball — Had three hits in 14-5 win over South Kitsap on Wednesday and had two hits and drove in a run in 6-5 loss to Olympia on Friday.

Ty Brunner, Sumner soccer — Scored the game-winning goal in the 74th minute in a 2-1 win over Bellarmine Prep on Tuesday.

Cruize Corvin, Lakes track and field — Ran a personal-best 8:57.18 in the 3,200 in the invitational finals at the 2023 Arcadia Invitational in California, which currently ranks fourth in the state.

Kyla Cross, Bonney Lake softball — Hit 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a triple and four RBI in a win over Stadium.

Ian Draper, Rogers baseball — Had two hits and drove in a run in 7-1 loss to Puyallup on Wednesday.

Josh Dunham, Gig Harbor baseball — Had four hits and five RBI in two wins over Central Kitsap and three hits and four RBI in 16-12 loss to Prairie on Saturday.

Jeb English, Enumclaw baseball — Collected six hits and five RBI in wins over Franklin Pierce and a pair of wins over Washington on Wednesday.

Brynna Erdmann, Auburn Mountainview softball — Hit 2-for-5 with four runs scored, a home run, stolen base and five RBI in wins over Federal Way and Kennedy Catholic. Tossed complete games in both wins, allowing four runs on seven hits with 19 strikeouts.

Cole Foster, Auburn Riverside baseball — Had two hits and drove in a pair of runs in 10-7 win over Kentlake on Tuesday, had a hit and two RBI in 11-5 loss to Kentlake on Wednesday and had three hits and an RBI in 6-3 win over Garfield on Saturday.

Lucas Foster, Puyallup soccer — Scored a second-half goal from around 20 yards out in a 1-1 draw with Curtis on Thursday.

JaiCieonna Gero-Holt, Emerald Ridge track and field — Matched a season-best 5-10 in the high jump to win the invitational finals at the 2023 Arcadia Invitational in California, while also finishing fifth in the invitational finals in the shot put (personal-best 41-3) and fifth in the seeded finals in the 100 hurdles (14.64). Also won the 100 hurdles (14.85), javelin (124-10) and long jump (personal-best 18-5 1/4) in a meet against rival Rogers. Currently holds the top height statewide in the high jump, top time in the 100 hurdles, top distance in the javelin, second-ranked distance in the long jump and third-ranked distance in the shot put.

Nic Gibson, Emerald Ridge baseball — Racked up four hits and three RBI in 14-5 win over South Kitsap on Wednesday.

Vai Green, Kentwood track and field — Collected three first-place finishes at the Arnie Young Invite in Renton in the 100 hurdles (16.04), 300 hurdles (season-best 47.71) and long jump (16-1 3/4). Currently ranks among the top 10 statewide in all three events.

Gabby Greenwood, Kentwood softball — Hit a pair of doubles, scored three runs, had three RBI and a stolen base in wins over Kentridge, Mount Rainier and Lindbergh. Tossed five scoreless innings against Kentridge, striking out 10, and three scoreless innings against Lindbergh, striking out nine.

Mia Heigh, Auburn Mountainview softball — Hit 3-for-6 with five runs scored, a double, home run, eight RBI and two stolen bases in wins over Federal Way and Kennedy Catholic.

Peter Hollabaugh, Kennedy Catholic — Hit 6-for-8 with four runs scored, a double, home run, three RBI and a stolen base in two wins over Kentridge.

Kai Halstead, Puyallup baseball — Collected three hits, including a double and two RBI in 7-1 win over district rival Rogers on Wednesday.

Davis Jaquez, Sumner baseball — Had a double and RBI in 7-0 win over Emerald Ridge on Tuesday and collected three hits, including a double and triple, and three RBI in 14-3 win over Bellarmine on Wednesday.

Logan Judish, Stadium baseball — Collected three hits and four RBI in 12-0 win over Lincoln on Monday and had a hit and three RBI in 23-2 win over Lincoln on Tuesday.

Luke Koenig, Federal Way baseball — Pitched five innings, allowing no runs, three hits and striking out seven in 5-0 win over Auburn Mountainview on Tuesday.

Ryan Lewis, Tahoma track and field — Ran a personal-best 4:14.17 for a first-place finish in the 1,600 at the Arnie Young Invite in Renton, which currently ranks second in the state.

Brooke Lyons, Tahoma track and field — Collected three first-place finishes at the Arnie Young Invite in Renton in the 100 (12.15), 200 (25.67) and 400 (personal-best 56.82). Currently holds the top time statewide in the 400 and second-ranked times in the 100 and 200.

Riley McGee, Sumner softball — Hit 6-for-8 with six runs scored, two doubles, two triples, a home run and five RBI in wins over Curtis and Graham-Kapowsin. Tossed a five-inning complete game against the Eagles, and did not allow an earned run with five strikeouts.

Jonathan Miles, Gig Harbor track and field — Ran a personal-best 4:15.25 for a second-place finish in the 1,600 at the Arnie Young Invite in Renton, which currently ranks third in the state. Also ran a leg of the Tides’ winning 4x400 relay team, which posted a season-best 3:29.53, which currently ranks second statewide.

Hana Moll, Capital track and field — Posted a personal-best 15-0 in the pole vault to win the invitational finals at the 2023 Arcadia Invitational in California, setting both a meet and national outdoor record.

Josh Moore, Curtis baseball — Tossed five innings of shutout ball in 4-2 win over Bellarmine on Monday, allowing three hits and striking out six batters.

Juan Morales-Zavalsa, Federal Way — Eagles forward scored a hat trick in a 5-0 shutout of Todd Beamer.

Carson Ohland, Tahoma baseball — Had a triple and drove in three runs in 12-1 win over Kentwood on Wednesday.

David Pardey Jr., Kentlake baseball — Had two hits and drove in a run in 10-7 loss to Auburn Riverside on Tuesday and had two hits and four RBI in 11-5 win over Auburn Riverside on Wednesday.

David Perez, Auburn Riverside soccer — Ravens forward scored two goals in a 2-0 win over Kentridge to bring season total to six through eight matches.

Zack Robertson, Puyallup soccer — Scored two goals in 3-0 win over Olympia on Tuesday.

Jack Skelley, Olympia baseball — Racked up three hits and drove in four runs in 14-4 win over Bethel on Wednesday.

Josslyn Sorensen, Sumner softball — Tossed a complete game shutout against Curtis, striking out eight.

Isabella Thomasson, Kentwood softball — Hit 4-for-8 with five runs scored, two home runs and 10 RBI in wins over Kentridge, Mount Rainier and Lindbergh.

Julian Valencia, Curtis soccer — Scored the opening goal in the second half of Curtis’ 1-1 draw with Puyallup on Thursday.

Jesse Winkler, Stadium baseball — Had two hits and two RBI in 12-0 win over Lincoln on Monday, four hits and three RBI in 23-2 win over Lincoln on Tuesday and a hit in 7-0 win over Highline on Friday.

Sarah Wright, Kentwood softball — Was 2-for-4 with a run scored, double, two RBI and a stolen base in a win over Kentridge, 1-for-2 with two runs scored and tossed three scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in a win over Mount Rainier, and 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a double, home run, three RBI and a stolen base in a win over Lindbergh.

Gavin Yoder, Silas baseball — Tossed five innings in 13-1 win over Spanaway Lake on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and striking out nine batters. At the plate, collected three hits and an RBI in wins over Spanaway Lake and Highline.
