Junior Aslin Bearance led the Mustangs to a fifth-straight win Wednesday, beating Manual 3-2, with her goal and assist powered.

Macie Brown, Bullitt East girls golf

Bullitt East senior golfer Macie Brown won the KHSAA First Round Championships at Heritage Hill Golf Course in Shepherdsville on Tuesday after shooting 1-under-par 71 to win by one shot over Shelby County’s Isabella Wiley (72).

Nick Harshaw, Collegiate boys soccer

Collegiate junior midfielder Nick Harshaw scored a goal and assisted on two more to help lift the Titans to a 3-2 win over Manual on Wednesday.

Mykel Malone, Fern Creek football

Fern Creek junior running back Mykel Malone carried 17 times for 217 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Tigers (3-4) over DeSales 43-13 on Friday.

Gary Settle, Bullitt Central football

Bullitt Central senior running back Gary Settle carried 21 times for 161 yards and a touchdown to lead the hosting Cougars over Doss 36-12 Friday.
