Vote: The Oklahoman's high school football Player of the Week for Week 9

Another week of Oklahoma high school football is in the books.

The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top games by OKC-area football players in Week 9 is now live at oklahoman.com. Fans can vote before it closes at noon Friday.

Max Brown, Sr., Cashion: Brown tallied 171 receiving yards for two touchdowns in Cashion’s 19-4 win against Hinton. He averaged 21.4 yards per catch.

Tyrrell Bruner, Sr., McGuinness: Bruner compiled 124 receiving yards for three touchdowns in McGuinness' 34-17 win against Piedmont. His longest touchdown reception went for 71 yards.

Taylor Heim, ATH, Bethany: The senior carried the ball 20 times for 100 yards and one touchdown in Bethany’s win over Blanchard. He also completed six of seven passes for 35 yards and grabbed two interceptions on defense.

Tias McClarty, QB, Norman: The senior quarterback rushed 18 times for 243 yards and fourth touchdowns in Norman’s 48-28 win over Yukon.

Steele Wasel, QB, Choctaw: The Akron commit completed 13 of 20 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns to help lead Choctaw to a 37-6 win over Putnam City. Wasel scored his 100th career touchdown in the win.
