Vote for the SouthCoast Boys Athlete of the Week for March 31-April 9

There were several top performances among SouthCoast high school boys athletes in the first full week of the spring season.

Here’s your chance to vote for the top high school performance from the past week.

BOYS LACROSSE

Harrison Lemieux, Apponequet

Lemieux had a combined three goals and nine assists to lead the Lakers to back-to-back wins.

Kenny Wisniewski, Apponequet

In two games, Wisniewski had a combined nine goals and three assists.

Will Sanders, Bishop Stang

Sanders made 16 saves in net to help the Spartans beat Dartmouth.

Jackson Hart, Dartmouth

In two games, Hart had a combined four goals, including three in a win over Middleboro.

Shea Cripps, Fairhaven

Cripps recorded a combined 28 saves in two games for the Blue Devils.

Will Harrop, Old Colony

In three games, Harrop had a combined 19 goals and seven assists to help Old Colony get off to a 3-0 start.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Colin Stuessi, GNB Voc-Tech

Stuessi had a team-high 10 kills to go along with 10 digs and four service points to lead the Bears to a season-opening win over Barnstable.

Carter Barbosa, New Bedford

Barbosa had a combined 39 assists in a pair of games against Xaverian and BC High.

BOYS TENNIS

Will Horton, Apponequet

Horton captured back-to-back wins at first singles against New Bedford and Somerset Berkley for the undefeated Lakers.

Kole Pinto, Fairhaven

Pinto won 6-2, 7-5 against Dighton-Rehoboth at first singles.

BOYS TRACK

Logan Miller, Apponequet

Miller won the javelin against Old Rochester with a school-record throw of 185-8.

Jacob Cookinham, Bishop Stang

In a win over New Bedford, Cookinham won both the discus (158-5) and shot put (63-8).

Owen Benoit, Fairhaven

Benoit came in first in the high jump (5-4), 2-mile (11:21.7) and 800 (2:13) against Somerset Berkley.

Toby Lawrence, Fairhaven

Against Somerset Berkley, Lawrence took first in the triple jump (37-10), long jump (18-10) and 200 (2.38) and tied for first in the 100.

Justin Andrade, GNB Voc-Tech

Andrade won the high jump and long jump against Dighton-Rehoboth.

Jarred Quann, GNB Voc-Tech

Quann was fastest in the 100 and 200 against Dighton-Rehoboth.

Daniel Ward, GNB Voc-Tech

Ward came in first in the 400 hurdles and 400 against D-R.

Sam Balsis, Old Rochester

Against Apponequet, Balsis won the triple jump (37-10.75) and 400 hurdles (67.2).

Murray Copps, Old Rochester

Copps came in first in the mile (4:42.2) and 2-mile (11:19) against the Lakers.

Phillip le Gassick, Old Rochester

le Gassick came in first in both the 100 (11.2) and 200 (23.2) in a win over Apponequet.

Jared DeMello, Wareham

DeMello won the shot put (38-2.5) and discus (97-4.25) against Seekonk.

Aiden Robert, Wareham

Robert won the 110 hurdles (15.4) and the 200 (24.0) against the Warriors.

Gabe Silva, Wareham

Against Seekonk, Silva was first in the 100 (11.1) and 400 (51.7).
