Vote for TCPalm's Athlete of the Week for Jan. 10-16
Five student-athletes are on the ballot for TCPalm's Athlete of the Week for Jan. 10-16.
Last week, Jensen Beach goalkeeper Jade Andersen was voted Athlete of the Week, earning over 12,000 votes.
The poll this week is live starting Tuesday at noon and will close Friday at noon.
Coaches can email scores to bcooney@gannett.com or TCsports@tcpalm.com. The deadline for each night’s results is 10:30 p.m. Voting is restricted to once per device an hour.
Malachi Harriel, Jensen Beach
On Jan. 13 at the Region 4-1A Duals, Harriel battled Christopher William of Cardinal Gibbons at 220 pounds and scored a thrilling pin in the first period to send the Falcons on to state with a 31-29 victory.
Brandonlee Williams, Treasure Coast
Williams scored 17 points in a big 63-55 victory for the Titans in district play over Fort Pierce Central on Jan. 11.
Morgan Tucker, Okeechobee
Tucker knocked down a school-record seven 3-pointers on her way to a 27-point night in the Brahmans’ 68-33 win over Martin County on Jan. 11.
Xavier Csato, Pine School
The senior scored two goals in the second half, including a highlight-reel strike from over 20 yards out to help the Knights defeat Vero Beach 3-0 on Jan. 11.
Peyton Fitzherbert, Martin County
Netted two goals to help the Tigers defeat Vero Beach 3-2 on Jan. 13 to run Martin County's record to 7-0-5 on the season.
