You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS SOCCER

Thomas Lumona, Borah: Sent the Lions to state with a 40-yard strike into the net in a 1-0 victory over Meridian.

Noa Araiza, Caldwell: Stopped Bishop Kelly’s first penalty kick, leading the Cougars to a 5-3 shootout win for the 4A District Three Tournament title.

Jack Ciavacco, Bishop Kelly: Scored a golden goal in double overtime to clinch the Knights a 4A state tournament berth with a 4-3 win over Vallivue.

Lucas Boockholdt, Eagle: Scored twice to carry the Mustangs to a 3-1 win over Coeur d’Alene in 5A state play-in game.

Austin Carmack, Centennial: Netted four goals in a 6-2 win over Owyhee at district, then added two goals and assisted another in a 3-0 victory over Highland in a state play-in game.

GIRLS SOCCER

Belle Wright, Centennial: Scored both of the Patriots’ goals as they punched a ticket to state with a 2-0 win over Lewiston in a 5A play-in game.

Symantha Rangel, Ridgevue: Racked up five goals and an assist in the Warhawks’ final two district tournament games. She had a hand in all six of Ridgevue’s goals in those two games.

Morgan Nicoletti, Homedale: Netted a hat trick to lead the Trojans to their first district title in a 4-3 victory over Fruitland.

Nolyn Cromie, Boise: Buried the first penalty kick of her high school career to lead the Brave to back-to-back district titles.

Kenzie Hill, Bishop Kelly: Recorded two goals and two assists in the 4A district semifinals, then added two more goals in the championship to lead the Knights to their 15th straight district title.

Jenna Seals, Vallivue: Scored four goals in three games to help the Falcons clinch a berth in the 4A state tournament.
