Polls close at noon Wednesday. Read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS WRESTLING

Matthew Martino, Bishop Kelly: Led the Knights to the team title at the Red Halverson Invite, scoring four pins and a tech fall for the 152-pound crown.

Ryan Hirchert, Nampa: Pinned three straight to reach the finals of the Red Halverson Invite, then scored a 6-1 decision for the 98-pound title.

Draven Johns, Caldwell: Racked up four straight pins and a tech fall for the 126-pound title at the North Idaho Rumble.

Nathan Willoughby, New Plymouth: Pinned his way to the heavyweight title at the R.D. Brown Invite. No match lasted longer than 33 seconds.

Trevor Paynter, Homedale: Racked up three pins and a tech fall to win the 106-pound bracket at the R.D. Brown Invite.

Marcus Aleman, Fruitland: Pinned all four opponents he faced for the 120-pound crown at the R.D. Brown Invite.

Matthew Papa, Meridian: Led the Warriors to the team title at the R.D. Brown by racking up three pins and a 5-2 decision in the finals for the 126-pound title.

Gabriel Brown, Capital: Scored four pins and a 3-2 decision in the finals for the 145-pound title at the R.D. Brown.

Tyler Feeley, Payette: Went 3-0 with three pins for the 160-pound crown at the R.D. Brown.

Kash Cobb, Weiser: Rode three pins into the 170-pound finals at the R.D. Brown, then captured a first-place finish with a 9-0 major decision.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Kyra Richards, Nampa: Racked up three pins on her way to the 165-pound title at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Berenice Martinez, Caldwell: Pinned both of her opponents to claim the 138-pound championship at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Aviyanah Gonzalez, Borah: Earned two pins and a decision to capture the 120-pound championship at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Caddy Tverdy, Garden Valley: Pinned all three of her opponents in 1:30 or less to win the 126-pound bracket at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Hallie Esmiol, Centennial: Racked up four pins on her way to the 132-pound championship at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Elena Guerena, Owyhee: Pinned her way to the 145-pound title at the 2024 Caldwell Girls Tournament.

Kiera Hersel, Rocky Mountain: Earned three pins and a decision to win the 107-pound championship at the Big Mountain Girls Invitational at Burley High.

Dahlia Yerby, Emmett: Pinned all four of her opponents to win the 114-pound bracket at the Big Mountain Girls Invitational at Burley High.

Adriana Hartzell, New Plymouth: Earned three straight pins to lock in the 114-pound championship at the R.D. Brown Women’s Memorial Invitational at New Plymouth.

Audrey Deleon, Weiser: Lasted five rounds, including four pins, to win the 120-pound title at the R.D. Brown Women’s Memorial Invitational at New Plymouth.

Kiana Dullanty, Fruitland: Improved to 25-7 overall in winning the 132-pound title at the R.D. Brown Women’s Memorial Invitational at New Plymouth.

Clare Waite, Boise: Pinned both her opponents in just over a minute on her way to the 145-pound championship at the R.D. Brown Women’s Memorial Invitational at New Plymouth.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Earned two pins and a major decision as she captured the 152-pound title at the R.D. Brown Women’s Memorial Invitational at New Plymouth.
