BOYS WRESTLING

Trevor Paynter, Homedale: Scored two pins and two major decisions for the 106-pound title at the Weiser Invite.

Marcus Aleman, Fruitland: Racked up four first-round pins to finish first in the 120-pound bracket and lead the Grizzlies to the team title at the Weiser Invite. He’s won 21 straight matches with a pin.

Kash Cobb, Weiser: Rode three pins and a 7-4 decision in the finals to win the 170-pound division at the Weiser Invite.

Gabriel Cox, New Plymouth: Racked up three pins to reach the 182-pound finals at the Weiser Invite before taking the title on a 12-1 major decision.

Shilo Jones, Mountain View: Was the heavyweight champ at the Weiser Invite after scoring two pins, a tech fall and a medical forfeit.

Dawson Conklin, Emmett: Scored two pins in less than a minute and two decisions for the 182-pound title at the Challis Invite.

Kaiser Henne, Nampa Christian: Pinned the only two opponents he faced in the first round for the 144-pound crown at the Pine Eagle Invite in Halfway, Oregon.

Ben Binder, Tri-Valley: Racked up four straight pins for the 215-pound title at the Pine Eagle Invite. Only one match reached the second round as he led the Titans to the team title.

Eddie Garcia, Skyview: Captured the heavyweight title at the Pine Eagle Invite with two pins and a 5-2 decision over the top seed, Jorge Candelas of Nyssa, Oregon.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Nia Avelino, Caldwell: Earned two pins and two decisions on her way to winning the 107-pound championship at the seventh annual Jaybird Memorial Girls Tournament at Columbia High.

Clare Waite, Boise: Lasted five rounds with four pins and a major decision to win the 145-pound title at the seventh annual Jaybird Memorial Girls Tournament at Columbia High.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Collected four pins and a major decision to win the 152-pound championship at the seventh annual Jaybird Memorial Girls Tournament at Columbia High.

Kyra Richards, Nampa: Pinned her way to the 165-pound title at the seventh annual Jaybird Memorial Girls Tournament at Columbia High.

Jordynn LeBeau, Eagle: Racked up four pins to secure the 185-pound championship at the seventh annual Jaybird Memorial Girls Tournament at Columbia High.

Madison Gerlock, Tri-Valley: Pinned her opponent in all three rounds to win the Girls B title at the Pine Eagle Invitational in Halfway, Oregon.
