Vote for the Tuscaloosa area girls high school sports athlete of the week

There were several top performers in Tuscaloosa area girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week.

Shonedra Richardson, Demopolis indoor track and field: Claimed three girls 4A-5A championships. She placed first in the 60-meter dash (7.72), triple jump (36-4.25) and long jump (17-11).

Harley McNeal, Northridge indoor track and field: Won the 400 meters championship and set a new state record in the event, finishing in 55.78 seconds.

Sierra Stevenson, Fayette County indoor track and field: Won the girls 1A-3A 60-meter hurdles championship in 10.49.

Amiyah Johnson, Sulligent indoor track and field: Won the girls 1A-3A 60-meter dash championship (7.87).

Farrah Buckner, Hillcrest basketball: Scored 13 points in a 56-24 win over Bibb County.
