A dozen Varsity 845 girls basketball players are eligible for player of the week honors for Jan. 17-23.

Please cast your online vote at RecordOnline.com/sports. The poll closes at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Selected candidates do not include previous winners.

Allison Bono of Chester was the winner of the online poll covering Dec. 6-12; Ashley MacCalla of Middletown for Dec. 13-19. Jah-esa Stokes of Pine Bush for Dec. 20-Jan. 2; Audrey Elisondo of O’Neill for Jan. 3-9; and, Olivia Shippee of Monroe-Woodbury for Jan. 10-16.

The weekly online poll returns on Monday, with voting until Wednesday.

She scored 29 points in a 51-48 win over Ellenville on Thursday.

Kathryn Argenzio, Washingtonville

Six 3-pointers boosted her scoring to 24 points in a 53-33 victory over Monticello on Tuesday.

Sage Fanelli, Saugerties

She scored 32 points in a 60-48 win over Marlboro on Friday.

Asia Lebon, Kingston

She scored 22 points and made nine steals in a 49-26 win over Middletown on Thursday.

Arianna Lopez, Chapel Field

She scored 21 in a 67-34 setback to Chester on Friday.

Jessica McHugh, Ellenville

She scored 19 points in a 77-42 setback to Rondout Valley on Tuesday.

Maddie Malak, Rondout Valley

Huge week for the standout. She posted 26 points, 4 assists and 6 steals in a 77-42 victory over Ellenville on Tuesday. She added 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 assists in a 51-47 win over New Paltz on Friday.

Aaliyah Mota, Monticello

It was a big scoring week for Mota, in two games against Washingtonville. She scored 19 points in a 53-33 setback on Tuesday. She poured in 27 in a 47-30 win over the Wizards on Saturday. She also had 15 points in a 39-29 win over Minisink Valley.

Gabby Murphy, Marlboro

She posted 19 points and 5 rebounds in a 60-48 setback to Saugerties on Friday. She also had 13 points in a 43-28 loss to Roosevelt on Wednesday.

Ketura Rutty, Pine Bush

The freshman scored 14 points in a 53-50 victory over Newburgh on Tuesday, completing a sweep of the Goldbacks. She scored 14 again in a 57-39 setback over Monroe-Woodbury on Thursday.

Shannon Sgombick, S.S. Seward

She scored 23 points in a 61-23 victory over Liberty on Tuesday. She added 19 points in a 52-33 win over Tri-Valley on Thursday.

Emma Spindler, Wallkill

She scored 27 points in a 72-64 win over Red Hook on Friday.
