This week's Varsity 845 Player of the Week poll is live. Finalists were chosen based on games played Jan. 17- Jan. 23 and on information reported to the Times Herald-Record.

Finalists (listed alphabetically)

Jacob Angeles, Chester

Angeles has had to play every position from point guard to center in the last week, coach Jon Marsilio said. He has defended 6'6" centers and quick guards and he's had to be a distributor and post-up inside on offense. He contributed 12 points, six assists and two steals during a 66-42 win over Fallsburg. Angeles scored a team-high 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds in his team's 69-67 win over Millbrook.

Ben Aprilante, James I. O'Neill

Aprilante recorded three consecutive double-doubles as his team won all three games the last week, improving to 12-1.

Jeremiah Arne, Monroe-Woodbury

Arne scored a game-high 27 points in a 76-65 league loss to Kingston, but earned the respect and praise from opposing coach Ron Kelder from being almost unstoppable from the field. Arne added 14 points (12 in the second-half) in a 56-43 win over Pine Bush.

Brenden Graham, Washingtonville

Graham scored 23 points, dished out six assists and had three steals in a 71-34 win over Port Jervis, helping Washingtonville get to .500 (6-6 on the season). Earlier in the week, he scored 17 points and added three assists and three steals in a win over Monticello.

Devineo Innis-Leach, Goshen

Innis-Leach averaged 17.5 points in his last two games as Goshen increased its winning streak to nine games.

Jah'Likai King, Newburgh Free Academy

King scored a team-high 26 points in a 78-72 loss to Albany Academy. He helped get the Goldbacks back in the win column this past week with 18 points in a 70-57 win over Warwick. King also scored 38 points in a five-point loss to Pine Bush.

Ryan McCardle, Kingston

McCardle made five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points in a 76-65 league win over Monroe-Woodbury. He added 13 points in a 64-61 league win over Middletown as well.

Rad Moreno, Ellenville

Moreno recorded 22 points and 15 rebounds in a 95-39 win over Webutuck, keeping Ellenville undefeated. He also added 24 points and 19 rebounds in an 86-56 win over Onteora.

Chin Okasi, Marlboro

Okasi scored 18 points in a dominant 76-46 win over Saugerties. Earlier in the week, Okasi had 18 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 59-51 win over Warwick. Marlboro is now 8-4.

Jacob Santiago, Pine Bush

Santiago guided Pine Bush to a 67-62 win over Newburgh Free Academy with 19 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds.
