Here's the winner of the Spartanburg Herald-Journal prep football Athlete of the Week
After receiving 43% of the overall vote, Woodruff quarterback Carson Tucker is Week 3's Spartanburg Herald-Journal high school football Athlete of the Week.
Tucker threw for 196 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown in the Wolverines matchup against Belton-Honea Path.
Union County's Khristian Means came in second, receiving 33% of the votes, while Tucker's teammate Nehemiah Cochran received 9% and rounded out the podium.

Breakout: Union County running back Jakevious Jennings shines in first start against Broome
Week 3 Nominees:
Jaylen McGill, Broome: McGill had two catches, 168 all-purpose yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Shawn Cunningham, Chapman: Cunningham had 12 Catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
Coleman Gray, Chapman: Gray threw for 217 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 18 yards.
Jakevious Jennings, Union County: Jennings rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns.
Khristian Means, Union County: Means caught two passes for 18 yards and one touchdown. He also recorded 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
Nehemiah Cochran, Woodruff: Cochran caught six passes, two for touchdowns, and had 177 all-purpose yards and an interception.
Carson Tucker, Woodruff: Tucker threw for 196 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown.
