Cedar Bluff's Natalie Baty is Gadsden-area athlete of the week for May 16-22
Cedar Bluff's Natalie Baty won the athlete of the week honors in the Gadsden area.
She tripled twice and drove in a run in a 5-4 win over Waterloo in the Class 1A state championship tournament and added a double and an RBI in a 10-8 loss Woodland.
Baty won 47.34% of the vote to win the honors. Etowah's Andrew Pierce was second with 35.84% of the vote.
