Voters guide to Election 2023 [Updated]
Nov. 1—State police are investigating the theft of a package from the front porch of a Longswamp Township home and an attempted theft from the same property, troopers said Wednesday.
The incident occurred Monday about 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Lori Lane.
Troopers gave this account:
An unidentified male arrived at the victim's home in a white Honda CR-V with tinted windows and took a package from the porch. The suspect appeared to be a tall, thin, white male, who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a medical mask. He was not wearing shoes.
Later, another person arrived in a black Nissan Altima but left after checking the porch and finding no packages because the victim had already taken them inside. The suspect, whose gender could not be determined, is Black and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black slip-on sandals.
State police said the two incidents may be connected.
