Vuzix: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y. (AP) _ Vuzix Corp. (VUZI) on Monday reported a loss of $3.6 million in its fourth quarter.

The West Henrietta, New York-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents per share.

The wearable device maker posted revenue of $4.2 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $18 million, or 53 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $11.6 million.

Vuzix shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $22.24, climbing sixteenfold in the last 12 months.
