VyStar Credit Union mobile, online banking services down as company works on issues

VyStar Credit Union online, mobile banking enters 11th day without service

VyStar Credit Union's online and mobile baking systems have been experiencing issues since Friday.

The company announced last week that the system would be unavailable from May 13-15 while it experienced an "upgrade."

Customers were notified of this down time and told they would "still be able to complete banking transactions by using debit and credit cards, connecting with the contact center or branches and using ATMs."

However, as of noon on Tuesday, some of these VyStar features were still unavailable to customers.

"Our teams are working as fast as we can to resolve the issues," the credit union tweeted Tuesday. "We will provide an update as soon as the system is fully online again. We apologize for the longer-than-expected delays [and] continued impact on you, our valued members."

VyStar said its online banking systems should be mostly operational again with possible slowness or sign-in issues. Mobile banking still was not ready for use as of Tuesday afternoon.

Customers who need support are encouraged to connect with a VyStar representative via VyChat, the contact center at 904-777-6000 or 800-445-6289 or local branches and ATMs.
