Wait, Did Kourtney Kardashian Just Legitimately Quit Keeping Up With the Kardashians?

Times may be uncertain, but there’s at least one thing we can always count on: Kardashian drama.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians just returned for its 18th (!) season, and the theatrics are already at the momentarily-forget-about-the-pandemic level. We’re talking physical* fights — boxed water hurled at younger sisters’ heads, slaps across the face, kicks to the stomach.

There’s been speculation about Kourtney Kardashian leaving the show for eons (or, well, at least since May). The eldest KarJenner sister has feuded with Kim about the lack of personal privacy she has while filming. At one point, Kim even said they were “firing Kourtney.” In November, Kourtney said fans would be seeing less of her in the new season, explaining, "I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there. But I'm not saying goodbye.”

Perhaps it’s all a publicity stunt (Kris Jenner works in a mysterious ways!), but this time Kourtney seems pretty insistent that she quit. When a fan tweeted that Kourtney, “needs to quit the damn show,” Kardashian responded with, “I did. Bye.”

She also weighed in on a fan’s message about the other sisters “being mean” to her. “But does anyone apologize or correct their tone or words when they’re being mean to Kourt?” A Twitter user wrote. “Never,” Kourtney responded. “They actually don’t see where my hurt comes from.”

At that, Khloé entered the chat, commenting, “Wait so no one ever apologizes to you? Lol please.”

Another user responded to Kourtney’s earlier tweet, writing, “But you did it to Kim for years.” Kourtney agreed, writing, “I did and hopefully we evolve and learn from our mistakes.”

“Fight was very cringe worthy,” another fan wrote, prompting Kardashian to give perhaps her most blunt response yet. “It’s trash #KUWTK.”
