Wake-Up Weather: storms, isolated snowflakes push out east clearing the skies to start the week

Summary: The low pressure that brought us storms Friday night in to Saturday dug east bringing cooling temperatures into the 30’s with some snow reported across areas of the big country, including here in Abilene around 8pm. Heading into today temperatures remain below average with lows tonight close to freezing. A high pressure builds into tomorrow with winds becoming breezy heading into Wednesday. Temperatures top out into the low 70’s with a cold front and strong winds sticking around through Friday. Temperatures will be below average Saturday getting closer to seasonal by Sunday.

Tonight: Clear, calm night with temperatures close to freezing. Low Temperature: 33° Winds: NW 5-10 MPH
