‘Walking Dead’ alum Seth Gilliam coming to Spa-Con in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Spa-Con Infinity is bringing in a major threat to the zombie world for 2024.
Officials confirmed Sunday that their first guest celebrity announcement for the September 20-22 event will be Seth Gilliam, known for his role as Father Gabriel Stokes in the original “The Walking Dead” series.
Gilliam is also known for playing Ellis Carver on “The Wire,” Clayton Hughes on “Oz,” and Dr. Alan Deaton on “Teen Wolf.”

“I really think he will bring in a multi-genre crowd, which is what Spa-Con always hopes to do. He’ll appeal to ‘The Wire’ and ‘Teen Wolf’ crowd as well as to the ‘Starship Troopers’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ crowd.” Visit Hot Springs Special Projects Manager Alexis Hampo said.
This is the eighth annual edition of the comic and pop culture convention in Hot Springs.
