Walking Dead final season gets limited edition boxset with book

The Walking Dead has released a limited edition boxset for its 11th and final season, with the deluxe package including a book.
The concluding season of AMC’s post-apocalyptic drama ended last year with a whopping 24 episodes split across two parts, and Zavvi have now designed a classy boxset to honour the show’s conclusion.
The boxset comes with six discs for the 24 episodes, complete with iconic artwork and a 124-page hardback book, which comes in its own slipcase. The book details famous moments from the series, capturing the “heartbreak, death, violence and horror.”

With the tagline, "Fight the Dead. Fear the Living.", the boxset is priced at £39.99, but you will have to be quick as only 1000 copies have been manufactured ahead of its release date on July 3.
Whilst the main show in the franchise may have ended, the narrative universe is ever expanding through spin-offs, with Dead City set to premiere later this month.
The six-part series sees Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprise their roles as Maggie and Negan, respectively, with the former revealing that her character would begin in a "much darker place."

"We end up picking up in New York at the bottom of a really unexpected mountain, where maybe things have gone well for a period of time, but we're back at this challenge, just like these challenges that always seem to keep cropping up," she said.
"Nothing is through rose-coloured glasses. Because the thing that comes up, it's like, okay, so we overcame this obstacle of the Commonwealth and these things, that doesn't mean life is easy just because you quashed one enemy. And the enemy is this moving target. It's also the enemy within."
The Walking Dead aired on AMC in the US and STAR on Disney+ in the UK.
