'The Walking Dead' Is Working On A Way To Bring Back Maggie

The longstanding AMC zombie series "The Walking Dead" is apparently trying to get Maggie back on the show.

News Comes as Comic-Con Approaches

As San Diego Comic Con nears, showrunner Angela Kang remained vague, but hinted that Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, could return, at least for part of Season 10.

Maggie was never killed off the show; she just left Hilltop to find another place to live.

Kang: 'We're Working On It"

“I’m not sure if I can say much about it right now actually. I’ll just say that we’re working on it," Kang has said.

There was more to the disagreement between Cohan and AMC. They apparently were nearing an agreement on financial compensation, but Khary Payton, who plays Ezekiel, said "Pay the woman!" on social media.

Other Series Didn't Pan Out

Cohan left the show due to those disagreements, then appeared on the ABC show "Whiskey Cavalier," which was later canceled.

Meanwhile, it should be said that Maggie did play a part in the last issue of the Walking Dead comics, so it would make sense for Cohan to return in some capacity.
