Wallenpaupack Brewing Company earns awards at world championships
Jan. 19—Wallenpaupack Brewing Company earned two medals during the 2023 World Beer Championships Tuesday in Chicago, head brewer Logan Ackerley said.
The brewery received a silver medal for its Underwater Church barrel-aged barleywine and a bronze medal for its Paupack Cream Ale, Ackerley said.
The awards ceremony was conducted by the Beverage Testing Institute.
The beers also received awards at different competitions last year.
Paupack Cream Ale was selected as the World's Best Cream Ale in the 2022 World Beer Awards competition.
Underwater Church won a gold medal in the blended barrel-aged category in the 2022 U.S. Open Beer Championship.
